When the software gets downloaded install it. After that follow these steps.

2. A menu will pop-up. Click on "Open Volume Control" from there.

4. Click on Options menu from there.
5. Then click on Properties.
6. The Properties window will open.
7. Click on Recording radio button from there.
8. After doing so you can see volume control options for recording below. There you can see some check boxes are checked and some are not.
9. Check Stereo Mix and click Ok.
10. Now run Audacity( the application you've just downloaded and installed).

11.In the application window, you can see recording and play tools. Just below it you can see a drop down menu with Microphone selected by default. Click on the small button.12. Select Stereo Mix from the list.
Now we are done with the installation part of our recording studio. Its time for the recording part.
For doing this we need a background music. You can play almost anything as background music. How about playing a karaoke music of your favorite song and singing along with it?
But, remember good timing is the secret of good recording.
